We have been a constant guiding support to members with their procurement needs for over 30 years.

NHC Procurement was established to support the Northern Housing Consortium membership, initially in the North and then growing our team to serve a national network of members in every corner of the UK. With roots firmly grounded in influencing, policy, and engagement, the procurement team assembled to support the membership to access practical procurement solutions.

An exciting new chapter charting the beginning of a new journey, embracing our heritage whilst striving for progress.

Formerly Consortium Procurement, we will now be known as NHC Procurement – a forward step in our ambition to play an integral role in bettering housing, communities, and lives. Although our name has changed – our team, principles, and solutions remain the same. With this change, we honour our beginnings, serving the membership in the North, with an unwavering commitment to reaching for our ambitions, and bettering housing, services, and communities nationally.

Joining our membership connects you to a network of procurement professionals, sharing challenges and learnings.

We are a friendly bunch! And to help you to connect with other like-minded professionals, we recently relaunched a bi-monthly forum with a friendly open-door policy. This has become a space to share the day-to-day of procurement, and as well as the big wins, also some of the more routine stuff, that we all need a little help on from time to time.

We work with industry peers and partners to better our understanding of key sectors.

Our collaborative working relationship with the TSA, the industry and advisory body for technology enabled care in the UK, set a new precedent for providing organisations bound by public sector contract regulations with a route to market for technology enabled care. We have built on this important relationship with the TSA, in supporting members to navigate the journey to the digital switchover in 2027.

This is an exciting new chapter for us, namely our new identity as NHC Procurement. The investment in our revitalised brand and website represents a continuing commitment to our ambition, positioning us to best support organisations buying under public sector contract regulations with compliant, trusted, and expert solutions.
