Stairlifts, Lifting Equipment and Property Adaptations
Support your tenants to have an independent life in their homes.
If you have a tenant who needs home adaptations, a stairlift, or hoists and slings installed in their home, we’re here to help.
It’s essential to ensure your residents and services users have homes that are adapted to their needs, providing them with a safe, accessible, and comfortable living environment.
Property adaptations, such as stairlifts, rails, and widened doorways, enable disabled individuals to navigate daily tasks more easily and with less risk.
A well-adapted home can make a huge difference to someone’s life, easing the stress and anxiety that often comes with mobility challenges, and leading to better overall well-being.
The Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) is available when using this framework, provided by local authorities to help cover the costs of making necessary adaptations to the homes of disabled individuals.
To qualify for a DFG, you or someone living in your home must be disabled – and the applicant must be the homeowner, tenant, or landlord, and the property must be intended for the disabled person’s use during the grant period.
This national framework is typically used by organisations such as housing associations, NHS Trusts, and local authorities, and offers a compliant route to market under PCR 2015 regulations, live until April 2026.
