Meet the team: Charlotte Yellowley

Charlotte Yellowley is an Account Executive in our brilliant NHC Procurement team. In this Q&A, she reflects on her what makes her proud, what makes our team unique, and who she would swap roles with for a day. 

What’s your role and what does a typical day look like for you?   

Since joining the Northern Housing Consortium in 2021, I’ve been proud to manage a portfolio of member accounts across the North. My role centres around providing a compliant procurement route to market -ensuring our members have access to trusted, efficient solutions that meet their needs. No two days are the same, but they all revolve around building relationships, solving problems, and delivering value. 

What’s one thing you’re proud of?  

Some of my proudest moments come from working with members who’ve recently joined the NHC. I love that first introductory meeting – walking them through our portfolio of solutions, exploring how we can support their goals, and then watching that relationship grow into something meaningful. Seeing those conversations evolve into awarded contracts is incredibly rewarding. 

If you could swap roles with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be and why? 

I’d choose to spend a day with our contracts team in procurement. I’ve always had a sharp eye for detail, and I admire the precision and diligence required in that role. It’s a part of the organisation that plays a crucial role behind the scenes, and I’d love to experience it first-hand. 

What’s one thing you think makes our team unique?  

We’re united by a shared purpose: the belief that everyone deserves a safe, warm, and affordable home in a community they’re proud of. That mission drives everything we do, and it’s what makes our team not just effective – but exceptional.
