What is active fire protection?
Active fire protection refers to systems and measures designed to detect, control and respond to fire incidents automatically or manually. This includes fire alarms, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, emergency lighting and fire suppression systems. Active fire solutions are essential for protecting people, property and business continuity by helping to identify and contain fire risks quickly and effectively.
Why is active fire protection important?
Active fire protection plays a critical role in reducing the risk of injury, property damage and operational disruption in the event of a fire. Properly maintained systems can provide early warning, support safe evacuation and help contain or extinguish fires before they escalate. Effective active fire safety measures also support compliance with fire safety legislation and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safe environments for occupants, employees and visitors.
